Common Core State Standards Checklists for the Classroom K - 6

Common Core State Standards Checklists for the Classroom K - 6 | Eclectic Technology | Scoop.it
Our common core standards checklists are just what you need to help you keep track of the standards taught in your classroom. Use these to make sure you are addressing all that you need to teach throughout the course of the school year.
Beth Dichter's insight:

If you are a teacher in Grades K through 6 this site has a great resource...Common Core Checklists. You will find checklists for Reading, Writing, Language, Speaking & Listening, and Math.

The anchor standard is written at the top of the page. Underneath the indicator(s) will be listed in one column and you find columns for: date taught, date retaught, date reviewed, date assessed, date reassessed. All are uploaded as pdf files so you can easily download them for easy access. A screenshot of one page of Grade 3 ELA is in the image above.

OpenEd: Search for Educational Videos Aligned to CCSS

OpenEd: Search for Educational Videos Aligned to CCSS | Eclectic Technology | Scoop.it

"OpenEd contains the largest catalog of educational videos aligned to Common Core and other standards. Choose a standard group (Math, Language Arts, Next Gen Science) followed by a category. Then pick a standard and you will see resources for it. You can optionally filter by selected grades (K to 12). If you want to search for resources by keyword instead of a standard, click on the "Search By Keyword" tab above. You can also create courses on OpenEd by registering for an account."

Beth Dichter's insight:

OpenEd is a new source of materials that was founded "with the goal of enabling teachers to have access to the best educational resources (videos, games, and exercises) for their students, especially for finding the right resources for Common Core standards." It is easy to search by grade level and standard, quickly drilling down to the one you need. If you are looking for videos to use with students this may become one of your "go to" sites!
