If your students have Google accounts you might consider having them use Google Slides to help them organize research. With the tools available for searching next to the slides it is an easy way for them to begin to organize their materials. Richard Byrne has created a video that walks you through what to do.
Did you know that Google now has a "stock image gallery" with more that "5,000 images that are labeled for re-use." The images are for use with Google Drive while creating documents or presentations. "To access these images select 'image' from the 'insert' menue when you're working on a document or presenation. Then select the 'search' option and finally select 'stock image' to search for a stock image to use..." You may also search Google images and Life images.
Presentations are more than just Powerpoint or Keynote. While those presentation tools will get the presentation-making job done, there are definitely better options out there.

* Haiku Deck is a free app that allows you to create presentations with slick graphics that they provide or you may use your own. They will soon be releasing a web-based app so head over to their site to sign up for it.
* Projeqt is another web-based presentation tool. It has an easy to use interface and you can bring in materials from a range of sources.
* Google Presentation allows for collaboration and much more. Google continues to add features including a range of templates and the ability to easily share.
