I first got to know Jay Cross through his blog (it was before we even used the term) in the late 1990’s. I was one of the few people to comment on his posts and that was the beginning of our friendship.

Ayer murió Jay Cross en su casa de California. Sus compañeros y amigos de la Internet Time Alliance (Jane Hart, Harold Jarche, Clark Quinn y Charles Jennings) le han recordado y llorado en sus blogs y a través de Twitter. Los cinco han sido mis maestros virtuales durante muchos años.

El primer blog que yo vi en mi vida fue el Internet Time de Jay Cross. Le admiraba profundamente y hoy me he enterado de su muerte por esta reseña de Jane Hart.
Gracias a Jay Cross he aprendido mucho sobre aprendizaje y trabajo. El era uno de mis referentes desde hace mucho, mucho tiempo.
Aprendizaje informal y, ahora mismo, Aprendizaje Real.
Hemos perdido mucho.
