Youth should be given a voice. We want to learn what youth think of, for example, a more constructive use of social media or the current state of European economy. Young people should be active, comment and discuss.

But is this really happening, and why do we always refer to youth as ‘them’, and not as someone able to influence on an equal basis to ‘us’?
