Rund 64 Prozent aller über das Internet durchgeführten Angriffe erfolgen über den Browser, meldet Kaspersky Lab. An zweiter Stelle steht mit 14 Prozent das bei den Anwendern nicht mehr sehr beliebte Java, gefolgt von Android mit 13 Prozent, Microsoft Office mit 5 Prozent, Flash mit 3 Prozent und dem Adobe Reader mit 1 Prozent. Die Zahlen stammen aus dem cloudbasierten Kaspersky Security Network (KSN), an dem Kunden des Unternehmens auf freiwilliger Basis teilnehmen können.

Les utilisateurs concernés doivent installer rapidement la nouvelle version du logiciel (version 35 ou supérieure pour Firefox) via la fonction de mise à jour (bouton "Ouvrir le menu", puis "?", puis "A propos de Firefox"), afin de sécuriser leur ordinateur et d'empêcher toute exploitation hostile de ces failles par des individus malveillants, des virus ou d'autres programmes malicieux.

The consumer-facing browser is also getting an oft-requested ‘Forget Button’, which is essentially a retrospective ‘porn mode’ option. Using it allows you to clear between 5 minutes and 24 hours of browser data – history, cookies, log-ins, saved passwords etc. – but it leaves the rest of your stored data and auto-complete history in place. It also closes any browser windows you have open and presents you with a fresh, blank one.

Of course, switching to private browsing is still an option, but now you have an extra conduit to erase some of the recent past without having to mess about under-the-bonnet.

Among other changes to the browser, Nightingale said, is the addition of DuckDuckGo as a standard search option, alongside Google, Yahoo and the rest of the list of providers.

Apple diffuse une mise à jour pour son navigateur Safari. Elle permet de corriger plusieurs vulnérabilités de sécurité affectant le moteur de rendu WebKit.


Apple publie Safari 8.0.4, Safari 7.1.4 et Safari 6.2.4. Ces mises à jour pour le navigateur de la firme à la pomme sont à destination du système d'exploitation OS X Mountain Lion, Mavericks et Yosemite.


Ces mises à jour peuvent être obtenues depuis le menu Apple et le bouton " Mises à jour " ou depuis le Mac App Store. Elles ont pour but de corriger un total de dix-sept vulnérabilités de sécurité affectant le moteur de rendu WebKit.
