Vorsicht: Tausende iPhone-Apps mit Sicherheitslücke | 21st Century Learning and Teaching | Scoop.it

Facebook, Apple hacks traced to infected iPhone development site. Here's what you can do

Facebook, Apple hacks traced to infected iPhone development site. Here's what you can do | 21st Century Learning and Teaching | Scoop.it
Reports suggest that both Facebook and Apple employees—and likely others, including Twitter—visited an infected Web site laden with malware, which exploited a vulnerability in Java. Now the cause has been identified, here's what you can do.

The root cause is reportedly one iPhone development Web site that became infected with malware, which was then able to dump its malicious payload on vulnerable machines. If those infected machines were connected then to a corporate network, that network will likely have been infected.

===> It's absolutely vital that you do not visit this site in any way, shape or form as it may still contain active malware that could lead to infection. <===

Spyware Takes Over iPhones, Androids

Spyware Takes Over iPhones, Androids | 21st Century Learning and Teaching | Scoop.it
DFI News Digital Forensic Investigator is a multi-media resource for digital forensic professionals working in academic, government, law enforcement, and corporate settings.

Call it Invasion of the iPhone Snatchers: a new FinFisher-based spyware is built to infect iPhones and iPads (and Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone gadgets too) in order to take over the device completely — all unbeknownst to the user.

The smartphones and tablets will innocently appear to be themselves, but in reality the mobile malware is working in the background to track the device’s location, monitor activity and intercept communications including emails, voice calls and text messages.

Gust MEES: in Education we use Internet for e-Learning + m-Learning and also we embrace "Bring Your Own Device" (Twitter Hashtag = #BYOD), so we need to know also about the dangers, risks and threats with it! That's our responsibility against our learners (students) and we need to learn the basics of IT-Security and share our knowledge and help our learners when security problems occur ;)

This article contains information about the  security of the iphone and ipad users. This is very useful, because users wil be secured from any harm that could be done with their gadets. passwords were being sent over the internet unencrypted this could cause alot of problems because hackers would easily be able to access your password.

Second iPhone passcode hack vulnerability discovered | 21st Century Learning and Teaching | Scoop.it
You too can get into somebody's locked iPhone, particularly if you have a prehensile tail and don't mind (almost) placing a phony emergency call. Which you a) probably don't and b) hopefully do.

But as Macworld noted, this isn't the first time Apple has had to grapple with an iPhone password security flaw.
