Le sociologue Max Weber, dans un ouvrage célèbre,

Le savant et le politique, écrit : « La tâche primordiale d'un professeur capable est d'apprendre à ses élèves à reconnaître qu'il y a des faits inconfortables, j'entends par là des faits qui sont désagréables à l'opinion personnelle d'un individu ; en effet il existe des faits extrêmement désagréables pour chaque opinion, y compris la mienne » (Max Weber, Le Savant et le politique).

 

On ne peut donc pas se prévaloir purement et simplement de l'esprit critique : on s'efforce d'en avoir, et cela se traduit par des pratiques. C'est à cet effort incessant que l'enseignant initie progressivement ses élèves.

Enseigner est un art   Enseigner comprend une multitude de variables qui, si on les apposait les unes à la suite des autres, nous feraient sûrement réaliser à quel point cette profession est complexe et requiert un don de soi incomparable.


Au-delà des programmes, des enfants en difficulté, des bulletins, des rencontres et communications aux parents, des besoins multiples de nos élèves, de la paperasse, des réunions, des préparations de cours, des corrections, et j’en passe, il existe une réalité dont on parle moins mais qui, à mon avis, fait que les enseignants sont des artistes. Oui oui, des artistes!

La Commission générale de terminologie et de néologie vient de décider de remplacer l'acronyme BYOD (pour Bring You Own Device). Il conviendra désormais d'utiliser le terme AVEC pour « apportez votre équipement personnel de communication » pour qualifier cette tendance.

Apparemment l'usage des TIC au Luxembourg (Europe) ne sont pas si mauvaises que la plupart des gens pensent et ces statistiques le prouvent...

 

Personnellement j'aimerais voir la pratique de la #Cyber-Security aussi intégré dans l'enseignement ! Certains de mes cours sont déjà intégrés, voire :

Le concept Hack4Kids a été lancé par SMILE g.i.e. en collaboration avec le CodeClub et l’appui de CIRCL, le CERT national, ainsi que le ministère de l’Économie.  La mission est de promouvoir la programmation de manière ludique et de sensibiliser les enfants par rapport aux technologies de l'information, afin d'améliorer leur compréhension et leurs connaissances générales. Les enfants sont encadrés par des experts de la programmation et de l’informatique et les sessions se déroulent dans 3 langues : luxembourgeois, français et allemand. L’anglais peut également être utilisé, si nécessaire.

October was a big month for both Microsoft and Apple, which released new operating system versions: Windows 8.1 and OS X 10.9, respectively. It was Microsoft that saw the biggest impact, ..

 

The latest market share data from Net Applications shows that October 2013 was a slow one for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 combined, gaining 0.36 percentage points (from 8.89 percent to 9.25 percent).


More specifically, Windows 8 fell 0.49 percentage points (from 8.02 percent to 7.49 percent), its first loss ever, while Windows 8.1 jumped 0.85 percentage points (from 0.87 percent to 1.72 percent).

The economy of the future is digital. Already today it’s hard to think of many jobs where familiarity with computers and the Internet is not helpful: in the near future, 90% of jobs will require some level of digital literacy.

 

The answer is for every member state to have their own “digital champion” – a high-profile, dynamic and energetic individual responsible for getting everyone in their country online and improving digital skills. They would work with education authorities, industry, and grassroots activists; independent of central government, but reporting to it.
